Local Gold and Silversmith / Jeweller Frances Harkin trained at RMIT and NMIT in Melbourne, she also is a qualified Optical Technician. Frances ran Axiom Gallery in North Melbourne, Victoria for 5 years, conducting workshops and curating numerous artist exhibitions including group graduate shows for jewellers. She is currently teaching beginners metal workshops in Malmsbury and Gisborne. Her works are contemporary pieces, organically shaped and are influenced by places she has travelled.
